The Willamette United Football Club is proud to announce that Sydney Carskadon and Camryn Pettenger-Willey are the recipients of the 2020 Willamette United Rodger Hepburn College Scholarship. We are incredibly proud to call these two amazing young ladies members of our organization. Congratulations and good luck with the next phase of your lives.
CAMRYN PETTENGER-WILLEY, a Wilsonville High school Senior graduates with a decorated soccer career and a 4.32 GPA. On the eld, Camryn helped lead the Lady Wildcat soccer team to the 2019 State Championship game. She was a team captain and an Honorable Mention All-League player. She has committed to play soccer at Whitman College located in Walla Walla, Washington. Camryn was a member of the National Honor Society, a member of the student council and she participated in the Student Activities Leadership Team. In the community Camryn helped with the Wilsonville Community Sharing program and she volunteered at the Victory Academy, helping with students on the autism spectrum.
SYDNEY CARSKADON, a Wilsonville High School Senior graduates with a GPA of 4.26. Sydney is an AP scholar graduating with honors, a member of the school’s honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society. Sydney is an active member of the community. She walks dogs at the Oregon Dog Rescue, delivers meals to the homeless in Portland and she volunteers with the Wilsonville Food Bank. Sydney played recreational soccer for Willamette United since she was a little girl and last season she was a member of the Lady Wildcats soccer team that played for the 2019 State Championship.
The goal of the Willamette United Football Club is to help nurture great people that just happen to play soccer. Sydney and Camryn exemplify the type of people we hope to help develop into responsible, civic-minded leaders who will contribute positively to their local and global communities. The scholarship committee would like to thank all of the amazing students that applied for the award and we wish them all the best of luck as they head to college.

Director’s Mortgage has made a generous donation every year for the last six years. These funds help cover our annual college scholarship as well as countless registration scholarships!
